Heritage Builders Ltd were appointed to carry out a major refurbishment to Liverpool’s prestigious restaurant 60 Hope Street in 2012.
The bistro to the basement was completely stripped out and redesigned. Works included air conditioning, electrics, lighting, flooring, fixed seating, upholstery, decorating period timber doors, brick slip feature walls and a new bespoke marble bar with oak display cabinets.
The main restaurant to the ground floor and the private dining room on the first floor were also included in the project. Works included, air conditioning, electrics, lighting, refurbishment of existing oak floors, fixed seating, upholstery, decorating, period timber doors and brick slip feature walls. The restaurant was to remain open for lunch and dinner throughout the project. Works here were carried out in early mornings and late evenings.
The challenges of working in this environment included minimising noise and dust and other disturbances to all diners and staff, these critical issues were avoided with careful planning at all times.
The project was completed within the 8 week period to the full satisfaction of the owners.
